0830 - 1130 overcast, grey, dull, rain moving in later
Headed north this morning for yesterdays planned trip out was postponed....shame, it was a better day yesterday....so it goes...
....and so I went....I guess if it had been a cold winters day it would have been light a bit earlier....but as it had already rained in Pembury I left quite a bit later than I would normally.....
This article includes a couple of even ropier photos than usual....and yes, I forgot my camera again...so the phone....at distance...isn't really the best option...ho hum...
Arriving at Oare Marsh there were only a couple of other cars in the car park....not surprised!
The highlights were the Ruff roosting amongst the Avocet and Black-tailed Godwit and the Hen Harrier that passed along the Sheppey coast....there were at least 4 Marsh Harriers.....
Other than that there weren't really any surprises that I found....but its a great place to visit and provides loads of birds.....
