27

0915 - 1130 bright to start but becoming overcast W f2-3 chilly

A quick stroll all the way round for my second full warbler count.....a couple of days great weather, especially the last 36 hours, had surely flooded at least the south-east of the country with birds...

Warblers:

Chiffchaff 27

Certainly more than I was expecting...but I'm certainly not complaining.....!  Sadly though I have to report for the third visit....no Cettis...I believe it to have moved along....maybe next time....

So...what else was on show....2 Meadow Pipit, 3 Yellowhammers, 3 Goldeneye, 1 Little Egret, 1 Mandarin Duck, 1 Snipe, 1 Redwing, 5 Grey Heron, 1 Greater Black-backed Gull....
