Super birds...

1030- 1130 overcast, occasional sun, cool to cold

Decided to go to Broadwater Warren as the Woodlark had been reported back and singing....within a coule of minutes of arriving on site...I parked at Gate 1....I heard and then spotted my first Woodlark...

...in this tree....can you see it....

...over the time I was on site I heard at least 3 and possibly 4 singing....

So...now what....I thought I would have a look round to see if I could find....

...how fabulous....what a great bonus.....yes, they had been spotted during January but a majority of the time not a bird to count on as 'will be seen'.....
