A very early start to try to get that count right.....so....15 Nightingales on site, the most here since I started watching this place. Hopefully over the coming years the areas where the birds are will be left alone and the numbers will remain healthy.....with little planned on this site and all future material coming form pits closer to Tonbridge it should be good news.....there may be some disturbance I suppose to the birds around the quarry area where the work will be done in preparing the material and the new concrete mixing plant will be housed....depending on plans and happenings….
