Another one

0530 - 0840 chilly but warming, some cloud clearing

Did the moon go down....

...yes....

....and the sun come up....?....

...indeed it did...

Eventually it was a very warm morning even by 0830....!  Very nice.

The Nightingales...now numbering 5....were mostly making themselves known....the Lesser Whitethroat was still at the S bends by Island Pit, but moved over to the west side of Middle Pit within a hour…..the Whitethroat has moved to warbler corner....which is now a proper warbler corner containing Blackcap, Chiffchaff and Nightingale as well....with a near by Willow Warbler.

5 Nightingale
1 Lesser Whitethroat
1 Whitethroat
15+ Blackcap
2 Willow Warbler

The Reed Warbler was either quiet or has moved on.

One of the easiest birds to get a photo of at the moment has to be....

Linnet

Linnet

As usual one of the Lapwings was at West Pit....

And even by the time I got to West Pit the sun coming up was making for a good photo opportunity...

West Pit

On my return a Chiffchaff was sitting at the top of a tree singing....
