Tudeley

2 x 1hour visits to Tudeley Wood in an attempt to find a Lesser Spotted Woodpecker proved fruitless....not unexpected though.....these birds are reported occasionally at these woods....this may be due to not many birders visiting the site though of course theres not  huge amount to attract them to it.....Nightjar used to breed on the heathland area but as far as I know no longer do though birds visit on the way to breeding site.....
