Moving

0900 - 1100 overcast, grey, occasionally bright, warm but cool in SW f2-4

A quick trip to...again....check up on the Lapwings....I found one adult, it seemed quite keen on alrm calling so the juvenile is out there somewhere...its getting difficult now as the plants are growing taller in the field so it has many more hiding places....still hoping it will make it through, the water has dried in the hollow and its now just a bit damp, so hopefully its meandering round the field picking up anything that moves...

They are now moving the old A21 road planings….no idea where but there are a number of lorries coming and going...

The Lesser Whitethroat is still in the Paddock area and the Swallows are hunting round the other Paddock and gardens near by.  2 more located on site further west.

I have no idea what is happening...or not happening....on North Field....1 Skylark there today singing....the grass which the farmer cut a few weeks back, when 3 or 4 Skylarks were breeding there, is now thigh high....

Blackcap, Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler, Whitethroat all accounted for...also...North Field holds 2 purring Turtle Doves with a further one slightly north...so I believe its 3 on site with a possible fourth.

There were a few Buzzards meandering around and the unusual site of a Sparrowhawk passing by....doesn't appear too often here....
