2 new

Two walk outs to different places provided two new species for the year list...

Yesterday the family went for a walk from Matfield out to Paddock Wood, returning via Brenchley....on the return journey just south of Chantlers Hill I found an Egyptian Goose in one of the fields....

Today a Grasshopper Warbler had been reported just south of East Peckham.  An area I had wanting to take a look at for a while to see if it was any good for ringing.....so Henry and I headed that way....we didn't find the warbler....though there were 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls in the field just north of the River Medway.

At Sluice Weir Lock there were two Grey Wagtails.....always stunning to see them in their smart grey and yellow plumage....
