Robin Influx.....

0930 - 1150 cold, clear, bright, sunny

....but there certainly wasn't too much warmth in the sun....though what there was was most welcome....

I came across a 'flock' of about 10 Robins at the quarry area, which seemed a bit strange.....I had already noticed a few Robins around....all along the track there were Robins....an influx from somewhere....there were also a few Blackbirds around to...maybe a cold snap on the continent had brought them across...and I have already read someone had more than usual at Samphire Hoe today...

Crow, Chaffinch, Collared Dove, Magpie, Yellowhammer, Song Thrush, Wren, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Feral Pigeon, Rook, Green Woodpecker, Woodpigeon, Reed Bunting, Fieldfare, Bullfinch, Kestrel, Goldcrest, Dunnock, Jay, Long-tail Tit....

Black-headed Gulls, Common Gull...

Black-headed Gull, Mallard, Grey Heron, Great Crested Grebe, Gadwall, Coot, Tufted Duck, Kingfisher, 18 Teal, Shoveler, 14+ Pochard, 2 Greylag Geese, 4 Common Gull, 3 Goldeneye (2f 1m), Wigeon, Mute Swan, Little Grebe, Snipe, Moorhen.....

Wigeon, Gadwall, Coot.....
