Off to the shed this morning I heard a Greenshank calling....sadly it wasnt meandering round the pond..ha ha.....it was somewhere overhead....couldnt find it and obviously it was in a rush to head north I guess.....seemed to call from over my shoulder so that would make it heading North-West...
In the meantime the Siskins and Goldfinches are making the most of the sunflower hearts....today there was a House Sparrow having a go as well and for the second day in a row a Magpie was lurking at the bottom of the garden.....in attendance was the usual 5+ Woodpigeon and 2 Collared Dove....
