In search of convolvuli

With the onset of migration its good to remember its not just for birds....some moths migrate too and its around this time of year that the Convolvulus Hawk-moth makes an appearance....if you are lucky....and its always better to be somewhere near the coast to boost chances....

But...as I live just outside Tunbridge Wells its as close to the coast I can get at short notice....so I searched the garden a couple of nights ago....I wasted a bottle of beer poured on the fence...just in case.....I put out the trap....just in case.....but....

...........no convulvuli.....however....theres always something to report...

Centre-barred Sallow, Atethmia centrago

Cypress Pug, Eupithecia phoeniciata

Orange Swift, Triodia sylvina
