Heres a fabulous bird.....the bags of shit bird.....actually, not quite...a quick re-cap on a previous story...when we were on honeymoon in California we saw some Pelicans at some distance, but they looked like bags, sitting on a bank....so my wife said 'who dumped those bags of shit there'...it was only after I scoped them and then got my wife to take a look....! Of course, they were American White Pelicans....
These are Great White Pelicans found in Europe, Asia and Africa....
Heres one of the animals that my son was waiting to see....he loves penguins.....
These are Humboldt Penguins and below is an adult and juvenile for comparison....whilst we were there they were fed a small amount of fish...clearly the two Grey Herons and two Herring Gulls knew it was the time to turn up....the Herons went without....but one of the Gulls cheekily pinched a fish out of the water....
