All I am saying...

....to dog owners....is give my peace a chance, train your dog and stop shouting all over the fields and meadows of England and allow other people the time they want in the countryside for what they want instead of listening to you bellow full throat at a stupid dog that isnt trained and wont come to you no matter how much you shout at it....

...afore the shouting had commenced...

0600-0915 E F1 50% cloud, sunny periods, cool...Autumnal....

Sun does rise....early in the morning....

Robin was the only bird singing in the village so I meandered in to the orchard to find...a Crow...caw cawing...a Collared Dove finally decided to join....and silence descended....

....the bird of the day, for me, appeared next....sitting on top of one of the massive sheds at the farm initially I thought, from distance, it might be a Woody....but rather splendidly turned out to be a Red Legged Partridge....nice....

...mist on a Monday (er...Saturday)...morning...

Jackdaw, Green Woodpecker, Wren, Magpie, 3 Hobby, 4 Herring Gull over W....let the dog shouting begin....Skylark, 4 Grey Heron, Blackbird, Blackcap, Woodpigeon, 97 Coot, 5 Mallard, 11 Great Crested Grebe, 5 Little Grebe, 9 Moorhen, 55 Black Headed Gull, 10 Tufted Duck, 1 Lesser Black Back Gull (imm), Chiffchaff (still singing), Reed Bunting, Blue Tit, Sedge Warbler, Willow Warbler, Reed Warbler, 15 Sand Martin, Nuthatch, 2 Mute Swan, 1 Buzzard, Treecreeper, 2 Shoveler, 5 House Martin, 1 Canada Goose (12 over N), 1 Cormorant over W, Dunnock, Jay, Whitethroat, Great Tit, Bullfinch, Meadow Pipit, Starling, House Sparrow....

Grey Herons were very active, calling and flying....

....whilst at the pits I saw what I initially believed to be a Feral Pigeon come down for a drink at the far East beach area....further investigation determined it as a Racing Pigeon....a quick slurp, a fly round to get some idea of direction...and off it went....
