The work at the quarry continues and I'm guessing will do for some time....just hoping it doesn't culminate in a road/track being made along the south side of the pits....but that's probably where it will end up at some point in the future....
Anyway....7 Chiffchaff today....moved around the site or maybe some have moved on and these are new ones....
Dandelion....looking good in the sun....
3 Grey Herons out on the field just south of West Pit
Er....wrong sort of bird....whirly type...
Buzzards,, 9 Teal, 2 Little Egret, 45 Shoveler, 5 Pochard, 1 Wigeon, 2 Snipe, 3 Goldeneye, 3 Lesser Redpoll, 3 Common Gull....
