Five go Warbling Again...but first...

...off to Rye for a very early at the viewing point waiting for the sun to come up good time!!

Worth the dash down to the coast.....Bittern booming....though sadly no views....after a while it gave up booming so anyone turning up a little later would have been disappointed...

Cettis Warblers going bonkers all round...Chiffchaffs....Blackcaps...Reed Buntings....plenty of gulls...Black-headed....Herring....Great Black-backed....Mediterranean....an occasional Sandwich Tern...2 Marsh Harriers...

On to the front...plenty of Terns and Gulls....great views of Wheatears....

...back to Whetsted....

1000 - 1200 clear blue skies, warming slowly....

A not all the way round walk for a couple of hours....

...and swooping over the quarry....a Swallow was heading north-west....

A male and female Mandarin Ducks were flying around too....
