Anyone and everyone...please sign this petition NOW....before 25th September....this is really urgent....I cannot believe what I am reading....I have copied a paragraph below...as you can see, amazingly, they are going to build on a SSSI...which just shows that this supposed protection means nothing....the link to the petition is at the bottom....please support this....and also let others know and get them to sign it too....
Last week Medway Council voted to give the go-ahead for 5,000 houses in the SSSI (Special Site of Scientific Interest) at Lodge Hill in Kent, in spite of vigorous campaigning against it. This site is nationally protected and home to a nationally-important population of nightingales.
