More Gravel Pits.....

A detour out of the county to a set of different gravel pits....in a bid to find a few migrants I set off for the south coast and the sunshine...which turned out to be rather murky in the mist most of the day, breezy and rather cool...passing through Newenden a Barn Owl went across the road...a nice start....Crow, Herring Gull and Blackbird were added before arrival.....
Rye Harbour Nature Reserve: Mallard, Pheasant, Wren, Great Tit, Curlew, Wood Pigeon, Cettis Warbler, Black Headed Gull, Moorhen, Magpie, Cormorant, Teal, Coot, Chiffchaff, Chaffinch, Tufted Duck, Little Egret, Reed Bunting, Wigeon, Marsh Harrier, Greylag Geese, Mute Swan, Water Rail, Gadwall, Pochard, Shoveller, Shelduck, Great Crested Grebe, Robin, Dunnock, Starling, Jackdaw, Collared Dove, Goldfinch, Skylark, Great Black Back Gull, Redshank, Avocet, Grey Plover, Meadow Pipit, Dunlin, Ringed Plover, Oystercatcher, Song Thrush, House Sparrow, Greenfinch, Med Gull, Long Tail Tit, Goldcrest, Linnet, Grey Heron, Brent Geese, Goldeneye, Blue Tit, Green Woodpecker, Common Gull, Sandwich Tern, Garganey, Turnstone, Whimbrel, Wheatear, Bar-tailed Godwit, Golden Plover, Lesser Black Back Gull.
